Tent in the House

One evening
A tent emerges
In the living room
Like a child’s dream
Only that
No children live here
Or so I thought

Hanging a lamp
Calling in all the stuffed animals
I walk inside
Into the magical cave
Where
A forgotten adventure awaits
With a beating heart

Lying down
Looking up at the swaying lamp
One thought speaks to me
The world is still magical
The adventure still awaits
You are the sailor
Of this life
